The shortest sequence I'm aware of is:
Shift-click the component on the drawing to select it.
Press Alt-Enter to open the Properties dialog.
Click the Change... button (which is to the right of the Component field)
        Select the replacement diode.
        Click OK.
        Click OK.

OK, That looks like that sequence worked, but work on a single component. Meaning it looks like I am going to this for each diode. Is then a way to do all the didoes at once?

Where Brad says "Shift-click the component on the drawing to select it."

You can hold down the Shift key and then CTRL-click each component for a multiple component selection.

Hi Richard, you got me thinking....

From the Interaction Bar you use Goto Component (By Type)  this will select one component, now Right-click and you can 'Select All Find Items' as shown in the image.

    Really quite a useful option!

Then as Brad describes from Properties select Change.

    WOW, that was extremely easy.

Your second suggestion works really great. It even found a mistake in the component labeling.

The only downside is the PCB traces were deleted and needed to be redrawn after using the forward design changes function.

    THANK YOU bing time. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
