It's incredible that for all the available links on the designspark website that there is no direct link to report issues or problems with the website which is why I'm posting it here in the community section.
Issue: I haven't used Design Spark PCB in a while and started it up: got a message saying to upgrade to the latest version and the message showed a link to click on.
After clicking the link my browser, Chrome (latest version) threw up a warning and blocked access to the site saying it was not secure. Apparently the SSL certificate is either invalid or out of date. In order to access the site I had to override the warning and proceed to the site.
Here is a screen-shot of the address bar after I overrode the browser warning:
As you can see in the address bar above, the browser reports the site as "Not secure".
Checking the certificate settings for the site, it shows that the certificate is set to expire on 11/16/2018 2 days from now:
So technically, the certificate is not yet "out of date" (today is 11/14/2018) but may have an issue elsewhere regarding how Chrome is responding to it.
In any case, the only way I could get to the site was to override the browser's warnings setting.
I tried using two other browsers and the warning does not show up and access to the site works normally. So apparently it has to do with the Chrome browser.
Since this appears to be an issue only with the Chrome browser someone on the web development side might want to review this problem with respect to Chrome since it's probably the most popular browser being used so far.
Lastly, may I strongly suggest that a "Contact Us", or something similar, be added to the Design Spark website so that this kind if issue, or others, can be reported in a more direct way rather than having to post it in the communities section ? (if there is such a link I could not find it - anywhere!)
