creating a pattern in sketch mode

    In V5, if in 'Non Constraint' sketching ( un tick Options>Advanced>Enable Constraint Based Sketching ), create your sketch geometry, select the desired duplicated entities, then in  move options, select 'Create Patterns', drag and enter distances / count.

    If using the the new constraint tools in sketching, then patterns have to be manually made using move and holding down the ctrl key.

    Here's a very simple hex hole pattern ( you actually don't need a second sketch ie. Sketch2). Patterns can be parametrically linked through 'constraints' for size and spacing before making into surfaces.
