Models will not render

When I open my models, they are all rendering terribly. I don't get any comment about anything being corrupt, but I can't use the model the way it is. 

After seeing this I upgraded from DSM 4.0 to 5.0 to see if a new build would help, but no. 

Even if I start a new file, the new display box has the same blurry diagonal lines.

Not sure what to do here as I can't seem to use the application anymore...

  Try a different graphics renderer...

  

  although, it looks like there's something wrong with the graphics card itself - for V5, there's the slightly higher openGL requirement of 4.5

  I tried both OpenGL and WARP and that did the trick. Thanks!
