    First, it is best to ask this question in the DesignSpark PCB Discussion forum. You posted this in the DesignSpark Electrical Discussion, which is for a different program. Questions are more likely to be seen and responded to sooner if they are in the right forum.

    But the answer is yes, you can get rid of the indicator dot on the silkscreen layer of the component.

    Place at least one of the components you wish to modify on the PCB.

    Right-click on the component, and select Edit Symbol in Library.

    The PCB symbol will be opened in the library editor.

    Select the item(s) you wish to remove (in this case, polarity dot) and delete them.
    (The polarity dot in this particular component is actually two separate overlapping shapes on the silk screen layer. You need to delete  both.)

    Close the symbol editing window. It will ask you if you want to save your changes to the symbol. Click Yes.

    Right-click the component on on the PCB. Select Update Component...

    Click OK.
