    Hi, the same here, it was running fine yesterday, but this morning it would not launch even after a fresh install.

    It needs to be launched as an administrator, it seems to start ok.

    I'm having a similar issue.  Running as administrator doesn't help.

    I can see that the SpaceClaim.exe process gets created, but it doesn't go any further than that.  no GUI, no app, nothing.

    Win7, dual Xeon X5650, 24G RAM, GeForce GTX950.

    Same issue, fine before lunch. Now won't restart. Seems the the RSRegistration won't work - Any ideas?

    not sure if it helps, or if it will continue to work...

    i'm running windows 7, 64 bit.

    64 bit designspark mechanical would not start.

    uninstalled, and installed designspark mechanical 32 bit as administrator.

    seems to work properly. interesting.

    Design Spark Mechanical 2  worked fine on Windows 10 64Gb  

    Had no problems, then it stopped.  So here what I have done:

    Uninstalled using (DSM Uninstaller)

    Updated Windows 10 

    Installed DSM 2.1  64bit 

    Nothing happens,  you get a reaction (hour glass circle) so you know you have pressed it but nothing executes?

    Has this been solved?

    I tried to install DSM on a windows 10 machine. Looking at the task manager I see the SpaceClaim.exe process getting created, but the RSregistration.exe not working  (created but closing all of a sudden).

    I've uninstalled Designspark Mechanical, deleted the profiles in my appdata folders and reinstalled. I am still unable to launch Designspark Mechanical. I see the RSRegistration.exe and SpaceClaim.exe in my task manager. I was able to use it on this machine about a week ago. I've reset my computer after each step. I'm not sure what else I can try at this point.

    Having the same problem Can Not Launch 64 Bit Version 2.0.  Uninstalled 64 Bit Version Installed 32 Bit Version and same results.  Spaceclaim launches gets to 18MB and stops.  Not sure what else to try.  

    Even tried removing WIndows Update that was recently installed on May 28th.

    2018-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4100403)

    I have tried all the options.  Installing 32bit version, uninstalling, deleting user.config, rebooting etc.  Nothing works.

    I can run Design Spark PCB but not Mechanical.

    I have just tried that but I just get a blank page. I can't progress beyond the choose a request page.

    I suspect that only DesignSpark can fix this problem.

    ok for me the problem was fixed, I am able to launch, the problem had resolved from the DSM end.

    I tried to install DSM 64 on a windows 10 machine. The installation process goes smoothly but, when trying to launch the application for the first time, nothing happens.

    Out of curiosity I had a look to the processes in the task manager. When running the application this is what happens in sequence:

    1. Spaceclaim.exe process created
    2. RSregistration.exe process created
    3. RSregistration.exe process closes
    4. Spaceclaim.exe process closes

    Any idea?

    Had this problem yesterday.
    Tried to install 32 bit after uninstalling 64bit version.
    Not working.

    After a long fight had a look at the firewall settings.

    Windows 10 update stopped spaceclaim and rsregistration having access to internet.

    Manually set exclusions in the firewall.

    All working now.
    Running 64bit version.

    I see from the link at the top of the page, Design Spark have been having some issues.  These seem to have been fixed.

    I reinstalled the 64 bit version again today and it worked just like it used to.

    Nice to see a quick response and some good comms.

    running on win10,64bit, i have tried every possible solution, for four hours, just a pieces of .....  ,  and i cant see any effective support.  just  awaste of time.exe

    Hi all.

     

    To those of you who can't seem to get DSM 4.0 working, no matter what you do:

     

    What worked for me -finally - was to download and install 2.0, then install 4.0 again. 

    Everything seems to work just fine now. I hope this helps!

    since have download and install this software, I have never enjoy it. Once I login it lead to update where I have to fill blanks space yet, it keep on repeating the same issue...internal sever error.
