New part not appearing in User Library?
I have created several schematic drawings in Library Manager and saved them to User Library.
When I close library manager and try to pick this part it does not appear in the User parts list.
I have been able to use the drawings by cutting and pasting into my project, but this can't be right.
What do I need to do to add them to the user parts list?

Hi Tony, From what you say, I think you have created a schematic symbol and saved this. But a symbol is not a usable component on its own.
When you try to "Add a Component" only those that are valid for DSPCB will be listed.
There is lots of information here https://designspark.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/sections/202462529-Managing-Libraries
and this may cover the steps you are missing https://designspark.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003968769-How-do-I-create-my-own-components-
The wizard allows the creation of a 'normal' component with a schematic symbol and a mapped footprint, but also a schematic or PCB only symbol.
This video, although a bit old now may also help
https://designspark.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/211472389-Library-structure-Library-ManagerI'm also concerned about your copy and paste method which I have never tried but think that may lead to errors and I suggest restarting once you have components that can be used.
Also depending on what you are creating, there are lots of components online

Did you make any progress with this?
