Line could not be deleted

Hi.

Normally I can delete lines of the geometry and it will be recalculated. But in the model shown I cannot delete the line highlighted. So it will be handled like a wall in STL and 3D print which I like to avoid. - rsdoc file here -

Does anybody have an idea what is going wrong? Perhaps it is because it is a converted STL file to a normal body.

  I downloaded it.

  It's just line of a divided face.

  Select it ( the face) > key ' F '  ( Fill ) - gone.

  Hi.

  Ah, I selected both faces which does not work. I select one only and it works fine. But there are still some I cannot merge. Is that because the faces are from a different type?

  These 'Lines' are 'Tangent' lines and can be turned off as shown in image.
