Armin ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Yes, it makes a very large library. Mine is over 1,000 components. Many are used only once for a project. I can find the component very easily becuase I group components into sect...

Here's the way I handle components with different PCB footprints but have the same value. As you see the resistor's mounting size might be different but the value is the same. I show just resistors...

  • Richard Caldwell commented,

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Are you doing the PCB without a schematic? If so then there are no nets to be routed. You will have to route the board by hand, and labeling the nets for each trace.

    Update Bomb

I can get the new version to work and now the old version also does not work.   I am very mad ad what a waste of time.

  • Richard Caldwell commented,

WOW, that was extremely easy. Your second suggestion works really great. It even found a mistake in the component labeling. The only downside is the PCB traces were deleted and needed to be redrawn...

OK, That looks like that sequence worked, but work on a single component. Meaning it looks like I am going to this for each diode. Is then a way to do all the didoes at once?

    Componet Replacement

I need to replace a component in the schematic. There are 35 of the components in the schematic that need to be replace. The component is a diode that needs to replaced with another diode. So is th...

Thanks, guys ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)   I will visit the hardware store to get some potable pipe flux and lead-free plumbers solder to try. Did you use the plumber's solder or regulated electronic solder to sol...

Need To Solder A 18 AWG Wire To Copper Pipe

Howdy I am trying to solder an 18AWG wire to a pure copper pipe (OD = 20mm Wall Thickness = 1mm Length = 200mm). The pipe is a sensor so this attachment point has to be an electronic contact point....

  • Richard Caldwell commented,

I might be wrong but you need a schematic to form the nets that PCB needs to work properly, no matter how simple the project is.
