Cannot get DS PCB 9.0.2 to read my Technology file

Hi All,

In past I have always been successful in bringing along my own Technology files (Pads) into new version, but I am stuck this time.

I have successfully imported all of my Libraries, but not Technology files (Pads).

Image 1 below shows that when I use DSPCB to look for Technology files that I navigate to the old Ver 7.2 folder where my files are, but nothing shows up in the boxes for the actual pads.

Image 2, using Windows Explorer shows that there are indeed Technology files in the directory of Image 1.

NOTE in Image 1 there is a "Name" drop down, that does not include the files that are actually there in the directory.

Any help is MUCH appreciated.

BTW: I am not clear on difference between  .ptf  and  .stf  files

  Try copying with file explorer the required PTF file from the V7.2 folder into the V9 folder and I believe that will function correctly, just ensure the name is unique.

  Check Settings - Preferences the Technology path is correct for V9, it should be but worth checking.

  The STF files are similar to the PTF except for the schematics.
