Thank you, this has now been reported to our developers.

[Updated] A replacement DLL is available until the next release.
Raise a support ticket to request as an interim fix.

What's more interesting, it's not on the list of changes. Some time ago we did have a similar undocumented change with a pdf background which was quickly fixed. I'd suggest to report it as a bug/lost feature, should be quite easy to fix too.

I was pulling my hair out with this, and I was able to do some digging, and I have found a temp fix:

If you open up your Excellon drill file, at the top, you will see this (as an example):

    G81
    M48
    INCH
    T1C00.0197
    T2C00.0240
    T3C00.0250
    T4C00.1250
    %
    T001

    7925Y3922
    X7925Y9828
    X8925Y3922
    X8925Y9828
    X9925Y3922

Again, notice that ALL the trailing zeros are gone.

If you now change the following:  Make the statement with INCH become INCH,TZ (for trailing zeros), it should allow you to open this file as before in your CAM software...so make the top of the file look like this:

    G81
    M48
    INCH,TZ  <<<<=== Notice the , TZ addition
    T1C00.0197
    T2C00.0240
    T3C00.0250
    T4C00.1250

Hopefully you guys can fix this soon, or simply provide an option for the proper output!

    thanks!

Just spotted this and it's got me worried as I have sent some PCBs off for manufacture with this dodgy data...

Should a PCB house be able to deal with this data or am I likely to get junk PCBs back?

    That's great news.

Is there a list of fixes in V8.1.2 anywhere as I was just thinking the other day that it's been a while since we had an update and there are a *lot* of issues outstanding still.

Can you contact support with what you consider the outstanding issues please.

From our support tickets V8.1.1 has very few issues and has been a very stable release.

Well, as support don't seem able to understand an issue I gave them explicit instructions on how to reproduce that doesn't surprise me...

Main annoyances are boxes not staying ticked (things like update components not keeping values etc), pop-ups not opening on the same monitor as the program (and often being distorted as a result) and general instability (usually crashes daily).

I'm sure there are others but I've got used to finding work-arounds so I'm now so used to using them I no longer register the problem.
