The autorouter uses the net class of a net to look up the via and track styles to be used for the net when autorouting. You tell the autorouter what trace sizes to use for the different nets by assigning your nets to the proper net classes in the schematic, and defining the track and via styles assigned to those net classes in the PCB's design technology. There is a fairly good explanation with graphics in the built-in help in DesignSpark PCB, under the Net Classes help topic.
