There are several different statuses that can bee seen in the obsolescence manager, these are listed here.

Value Meaning |
Active | Part Confirmed to be Active in production by the Manufacturer |
Active-Unconfirmed | Part is assumed to be Active in production but has not been recently confirmed to be active |
Contact Mfr | User is advised to Contact the Manufacturer Directly for the part status, Part may be a custom part or a part from an unsupported manufacturer |
NRFND | Part is still active but the part is Not Recommended For New Designs |
EOL | Part is in an End-of-Life / Phase Out Stage and will become Obsolete/Discontinued after the Last Time Buy Date |
Discontinued | Part Confirmed to be Obsolete/ Discontinued as per the Manufacturer |
Discontinued-Unconfirmed | Part is assumed to be Obsolete/ Discontinued but has not been recently confirmed to be Obsolete/Discontinued |
Transferred | Part Production has been transferred to another manufacturer and is available under the new manufacturer |
Unknown | no record |
