Insert cabinet:
If an element is unchecked, the user has the option to double click on its name and insert it as a cabinet, rail, duct or other element.
Insert ducts/rails:
Inserting ducts and rails involves three phases:
- Choice of command
- Definition of angle of rotation
- Length
Access to insert menu is the same as cabinets.
To define length of rail or duct, you will need to specify the end point in the drawing sheet by clicking on the cross-hairs.
Insert devices:
There are several ways of inserting devices.
- A 2D layout label is associated with the manufacturer part: This label will therefore be used. Double-click on the part to insert the label or use the contextual menu of the part and select the Insert label command.
- There is no association between the manufacturer part and a 2D layout label: When you double-click, a rectangle using the dimensions of the device will be inserted.
- You do not wish to use the 2D label associated with the manufacturer part:
Open the contextual menu for the manufacturer part and select the Insert command.
Insert terminal strips:
You can insert the terminals one by one like devices, or you can insert all the terminals on a terminal strip automatically.
Select the Insert terminal strip command in the terminal strip contextual menu.
The side panel changes to display the insertion options.
Click on the insertion point of the 1st terminal. The terminals will then be inserted one after the other according to the settings you have selected in the side panel.
Click on the Start insertion button.
