    I would start with the ecad part wizard - it works great for most standard components: https://www.rs-online.com/designspark/ecad-part-wizard

    Jim, has given a great answer, the Wizards are very quick for most standard parts.

    I think it's in the video link, but the phrase I always remember for the schematic symbol is "it just pins connected by artwork". Also look in the legacy libraries (installed but not enabled) for a great resource of schematic symbols.

    Another alternative is the free version of PCB Library Expert Lite:


    In my view, this produces much better copper pads and silkscreen legends, particularly for ICs.
